Introduction

SAFM™ Gene Family Isolation System Homeobox Kit series, as a unique product in the world, does not have any comparable commercialised kit due to the limitations of currently available approach methods. The homeodomain specific degenerate annealing control primers (HSD-ACPs) are designed in the basis of the amino acid sequences of most conserved regions of homeodomains by aligning 3009 homeodomains. Accordingly, this kit covers most of the (so far) identified 3009 homeobox members. This means that the kit may be capable of amplifying over most of the members of a homeobox family. Furthermore, the kit makes it possible to detect differentially expressed homeobox genes (DEHG).
