BioGene launched the GDT range of products at the show. On display was 'InSyte' a rapid, real time system for detection and analysis of nucleic acids. All the visitors to the booth were impressed by the technology on offer. Of particular interest were features such as:

Ultra Rapid thermal cycling (50 cycles in ten minutes): Important for high throughput applications and rapid diagnostic applications.

Independent optical and thermal control of each well: Critical for optimisation of protocols and validation.

Fast and highly sensitive photon counting optics: Full spectrum analysis allowing for use of multiplex assays for example.

Visitors from Europe, USA and Asia were able to see a range of new technologies and instruments that were also launched at the show.
