Allows for rapid and reliable isolation of high-quality total cellular DNA from a wide variety of plant species and tissues. Includes a specially formulated buffer containing detergent. Proteins, polysaccharides, and cellular debris are precipitated, then contaminants are further removed by isopropanol precipitation of DNA, prior to spin-column purification.
