The ASFV assay detects all known ASFV genotypes directly from porcine whole blood - no extraction or processing required.

The CENOS XF ASFV assay, using extracted RNA, detected all tested ASFV genomes and had at least equivalent performance to the ASFV reference assay.
Using the CENOS XF ASFV assay, it was possible to detect down to 12 copies of PCR target. Approximately equivalent to in-house qPCR, benchmark method. Obtained Ct values were earlier in the CENOS XF assay.
When run on the CENOS instrument, the XF ASFV assay successfully detected all strains and dilutions that were detected by the benchmark assay.
